The project works is undertaken in the Kisoro District and the Wasiko District, Uganda.
Much of the Kisoro District project work is done mostly (but not exclusively) in and around the Nteko ridge and the village of Nkuringo and town of Rubuguri, in the Nyabwishenya and Kirundo sub counties respectively. SGP have set up a music school, installed over 50 water tanks to harvest rain water, sponsored children to continue their schooling and has developed the Nkuringo Green Hill Health Centre to provide medical care and services for the community, delivered by the community.
SGP works closely with the local communities who co-ordinate the work, mobilise the community to get involved and provide leadership and decision making.
